The website is Designed and Created by
Mohammed Asif Ali, Dewan and Heir Apparent to His Highness the Prince
of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali.
This website will attempt to cover the long
history of the Nawabs of the Carnatic and the subsequent Princes of
Arcot in a "nutshell" form. It is undeniably an authentic history,
even today, to know the lives and events of the Majestic noble
personalities, who were the sovereign and independent rulers of the
Carnatic. The website narrates the events and the developments from
the days of the First Nawab of the Carnatic, Zulfikar Ali Khan
(1690-1703 A.D.) to the present Prince of Arcot, His Highness Nawab
Mohammed Abdul Ali Azim Jah. The Prince, in keeping with the glorious
traditions of his ancestors has been rendering great service to the
society especially in promoting communal harmony, secularism and
national integration in the country.
