Intizam-u-Mulk Bahadur was the brother of
Sir Zahir-ud-Daula Bahadur. He became the third Prince of
Arcot in accordance with the desire of his late father, Prince
Azim Jah Bahadur in 1879.
He was the last to be exempted from personal
attendance in Civil Courts and enjoyed the title of "His
Highness" and a 15 gun salute. He died in 1889 and was
buried with full state honours.
